This article explains how to give Instructor or Admin permission to a person who currently has Learner permission in your school. Before taking the steps below, be sure to familiarize yourself with the permissions attached to each role:

  • Learner: Access to view courses assigned to them.
  • Instructor:Access to edit content, view and download reports for learner progress and quiz analytics, and resend pending invites in courses assigned to them.
  • Admin: Access to all functionalities for all courses.

Step 1

Click Community.

Step 2

Click on the Add button at the top right.

Step 3

Enter the person's email address in the first field.

Step 4

In the drop-down menu, select Instructor or Admin.

Step 5

If you're giving the person Instructor permission, enter the course(s) to which you would like the person to have Instructor permission.

Step 6

Click on the Invite button at the top right.
