All of the customizations that you would like to implement into LX V3, whether it be for testing or go-live purposes, have their own separate testing environments!

 Learning Experience Color Palette

  • Northpass offers the ability to see how your color palette will transpire within LX V3.

Step 1

Click on the Learning Experience Styling option located under the Design tab.

Step 2

Select which LX version you would like to view your color palette within from the drop-down field titled Learning Experience Version.

Step 3

After making any changes to the LX color palette, you will want to click the Save button in the upper-right-hand corner of the page.

🎉Great News! The changes that you make to each field within the color palette will change within the preview pane in real-time. But have no fear, nothing will be implemented into your instance until you trigger the Save button.

Custom CSS Editor

  • Northpass offers the ability to keep your LX customizations separated based on the version you are interested in seeing the customizations within.

Step 1

Click on the Custom CSS option located under the Design tab.

Step 2

On that screen, you will see two options:

Styles for Learning Experience - Version 2, which will show within the LX when you preview your school via LX V2 & to any learners if your instance is currently utilizing V2 of the LX.

Styles for Learning Experience - Version 3, which will show within the LX when you preview your school via LX V3 & to any learners if your instance is currently utilizing V3 of the LX.

⚡️For insight into how you can view your school using the two different LX versions, please feel free to check out our support documentation on preview customizations in LX V3.

Step 3

After making any changes to the Custom CSS Editor, you will want to click the Save button in the upper-right-hand corner of the page.
