This article explains how to manage group access via your OAuth 2.0 solution. Contact us if you are interested in this option.

By default, the Users API Endpoint should return the data as listed below.

{

‘id’: UNIQUE_LEARNER_ID,

‘first_name’: LEARNER_FIRST_NAME,

‘last_name’: LEARNER_LAST_NAME,

‘email’: LEARNER_EMAIL

}

If you already have a grouping mechanism within your own product, you may also pass another variable supported_experiment_groups in this endpoint response as seen below:

{

‘id’: UNIQUE_LEARNER_ID,

‘first_name’: LEARNER_FIRST_NAME,

‘last_name’: LEARNER_LAST_NAME,

‘email’: LEARNER_EMAIL,

‘supported_experiment_groups`: [“Group 1”, “Group 2”]

}

Northpass will create groups within Northpass for each of the items passed within the supported_experiment_groups array and will add the learner to the newly created group.

Contact us if you’d like to utilize this additional field to manage group access.
