We've updated the look and feel of our navigational elements in the Learning Experience to help eliminate confusion. These updates include the following:

Exit to Course Dashboard on Mobile

When a learner is navigating through courses on a mobile device, they can now click on the school logo to exit the course they are in to take them back to the main course dashboard.

By default, the school logo will direct a learner to the course dashboard, however, it can easily be modified to point elsewhere in your Website Navigation settings as well.

Exit to Course Dashboard on Desktop

When a learner is navigating the LX on a desktop device, they can now click on the ← Back to My Courses link to exit the course they are in and take them back to the main course dashboard. We’ve replaced the old “power button" icon with a more informative and instruction text to eliminate any confusion.

Desktop Table of Contents

The previous icon meant to open and close the Table of Contents section of a course was not intuitive, and has been replaced with an arrow that better corresponds to the open/closed state of the Table of Contents. This new icon now changes direction based on the open/closed state of the TOC.
