Media Library Basics

Understand how to upload and manage content, master bulk uploads and more.

The Media Library lives within the Content tab and centralizes your assets in one place, allowing you to create content seamlessly. By managing the library's assets, you can ensure that only approved, and up-to-date assets are available for use.

 

Use the search bar and filter options to navigate through your library quickly and efficiently.

 

What are file types accepted? 

  • Documents - 200MB file size limit
    doc, docx, pdf, pdf, ppt, pptx

  • Video - 5GB file size limit
    3gp, avi, flv, m4v, mov, mp4, ogg, webm, wmv

  • SCORM 1.2
    zip

To get started, press the green Upload button. You'll be reminded of our acceptable formats before proceeding:

 

Now select the file/files you would like uploaded into the Media Library & select Open.

 

Please make sure any special characters are removed from the file name

 

Once all of the files have been successfully loaded, the Save button will illuminate in green. To import the files, trigger the Save button.

 

The file/files will display in the table and information about the Asset Type, Status, and the date and time of the most recent modification. A status of Ready signifies that the file is available for use within courses.

 

Once the file has been uploaded, you have the ability to Delete, Edit, Replace, or Download the corresponding asset by clicking the three dots found under the Actions column.
