Northpass Course Marketplace

Powered by the #1 content provider, OpenSesame, we now offer pre-built courses to get you up and running in a matter of minutes.

Make your Northpass content come to life with SCORM files available via your OpenSesame account.

As soon as you visit the Northpass Course Marketplace, we will automatically create an OpenSesame account on your behalf. If you wish to connect your existing OpenSesame account, please contact the Northpass Support team at support@northpass.com.

Accessing the Marketplace

In the Content area of the app, click on Course Marketplace.

When you access the Course Marketplace, you will be able to browse the various categories available in the catalog. To narrow down your search, use the course catalog search tools to find the perfect course.

Purchasing Content

Courses are available for purchase through the OpenSesame catalog. Courses can be purchased individually, in bundles, or through the OpenSesame Plus subscription.

To learn more about the best subscription for your company, check out this article from OpenSesame.

Importing Content into Northpass

Once you have successfully purchased the course(s), they need to be added to your Media Library so they can be distributed to your learners.

In order to do so, simply go to your My Courses page in the catalog.

Now select courses you'd like to import and click on "Send to LMS" (please note: depending on the size of the files, it may take a few moments to import).

A confirmation message will appear on the screen once your courses are sent successfully.

Creating Courses

Once your OpenSesame courses have been successfully uploaded to Northpass, you can create a course using the content. To do so, head to the Media Library in Northpass.

Once a SCORM package has been processed, the Status will change to "Ready". Then, the Actions dropdown will include the option "Create course from file".

You can now go ahead and enjoy your new course by locating the course within the Content tab and clicking "Preview" button. To include a course requirement, add a milestone activity in our syllabus builder.

🚨 Please note: Do not remove your courses from Media Library. Once deleted, you will not be able to add it again using the same Admin email address. This is a known limitation from OpenSesame. 🚨
